Three Little Pigs
Our Large Black (not little) pigs -- Velma, Mrs. Peacock, and Super33. Super is too old and is going to slaughter. Here they're sleeping (which is about the only thing they do all winter) together for the last time.Thursday, February 22, 2007
New Cow - Bre
Our new milking cow arrived. Rich is tempting her with very nice hay to get her into the barn and the stanchion. Bre is 7/8 Normandy and very mellow (compared to Butterscotch).Saturday, February 3, 2007
Burn Pile
Starting a fire and keeping it big enough to get rid of everything in the burn pile isn't trivial.
